Bashkortostan, translated as “the country of the Bashkirs,” is a land know for its rich, diverse nature, ancient history and traditions. Many different people however, live in this republic due to its location in the southern part of the Ural Mountains, on the border of Europe and Asia. These hospitable people work to preserve their traditions, culture and crafts, but are also open to everything new and modern.
