On the South-Eastern coast of the Baltic Sea we can find two freshwater bays, fresh, healing air, a diverse landscape and a moderate climate. These attractive features make the resorts in Kaliningrad Oblast an appealing destination for those looking to both have a rest and recover their health with tourists flocking to the coastal cities of Svetlogorsk, Zelenogradsk and Yantarny year-round. The streets of these towns are characterised by incredible numbers of old buildings topped with towers and cupolas, weathervanes and red, tile roofs. As one might expect, many of these constructions hold the status of architectural monuments. Each building has been carefully integrated into the area’s natural landscape with buildings located fairly far from each other and separated by green areas. This makes the area a pleasant one in which to take a stroll, especially during the period when the resort cities are filled with the air of summer holidays and when the streets are coloured by the golden leaves of autumn.
