Berezovye Islands is an island group on the border of Finland and Russia, which is famous for the unique Flore and Fauna sights and virgin pure nature. That is where the famous trade route from the Varangians to the Greeks lay. Today the most widespread means of communication with the islands is an outboard motorboat. To preserve animal and plant world of this territory the Berezovye Islands are recognized as a special valuable object. It's a state wildlife preserve. However, some activities are allowed there, for instance, mushrooms and berries picking, rod fishing. More than one hundred kinds of birds build nests and as many again appear on the islands during season transmigration in spring and summer.
