Travelling along with Valeriy Kazakov, a writer, government official, and Belarussian by birth who has dedicated his life to Siberia, we’ll see through his eyes the cities of Mogilev, Minsk, Moscow, and Krasnoyarsk, and learn why the journey is more important for him than the destination. As a federal government official in the Siberian Federal District, Valeriy has been able to establish cultural ties between his Belarussian homeland and the area to the east of the Urals, and his prizewinning books have made his name famous in literary circles.
