Situated in the center of Eurasia, Tyumen Oblast stretches out from Kazakhstan's prairies to the seashores of the Artic Ocean and occupies the hugest territory of the the West Siberian Plain. Here one can meet a brown bear and a fox, a hare and a wolf, a wild boar, a Siberian roe... The presenter of the RTG TV Igor Vykolov managed to make a photo even of... a pelican! A Siberian pelican is often called curly because of it's long and twisted curly feathers on the head and top side of the neck. Curly pelican is found in the territory of the Balkan Peninsula, Mongolia and in the south right up to Persian Gulf. In the north it has a seat on the border of Kurgan and Tyumen Oblast. Through the taiga and under bad conditions of the road the RTGTV team went by «Petrovich», which is a marsh buggy produced in Tyumen. It's created specially for a work where there's a lack of highways and at the same time it doesn't harm the topsoil.
