Modern Combat Aircraft

Fighters as a kind of armed forces formed during the First World War. Before that time aircrafts didn't have specific specialization and was no more than entertainment for public and glory for new heroes of a new century – pilots. Aircrafts then were used for air reconnaissance of enemy positions and correction of artillery fire. Later on the tasks they were applied to have broadened, and aircrafts were equipped with armament. Presenter Igor Maximenko examined the evolution of combat aircraft from veneer biplane to supersonic aviation combat complex, as well as watched how Su-30MKI and Yak-130 fighters are being produced at Irkutsk Aviation Plant.
