The Ural Mountains stick out on a map of the Earth like a kind of natural border between Europe and Asia. The lowest part of the range is located in the Middle Urals, where the slopes are not very steep, making it a nice place to relax for a wide variety of tourists looking to enjoy beautiful views without being put in danger to get them. From November to April thousands of downhill skiers and snowboarders from all over Russia head to the slopes of White Mountain — one of the region's most popular ski resorts. The summit is quite interesting due to its mountainous terrain and extreme differences in height and the possibility to go backcountry skiing or boarding (not on the marked and groomed trails). Host Denis Golovko studied the slopes of the skiing centre, rode around in a snow park and built a springboard all by himself to be used to test out freestyle jumps.
