While strolling around the Black Sea city of Sochi, the Winter Theatre, the most majestic building at the resort, is something that cannot be overlooked. It is known both for its creative architectural style, as well as for the Five Candles restaurant — one of the most famous in Sochi, — which is located in the back of the theatre. Here Rumiya Niyazova not only learned how to prepare classic Russian dishes such as cabbage soup (schi), small turnover pies and baked sterlet, but also how to garnish them with “flowers” crafted from local vegetables.
