The North Pole. Lands

On the way of Russian ice-breaker «Yamal» from Murmansk to North Pole there are lands and islands discovered by Russian seamen. On the map you can just see a narrow stripes of archipelagos Novaya Zemlya and Franz Joseph Land, but actually there are endless stone and ice deserts. There is also an amazing island Champa with fantastic landscape covered with stone balls on the coastal areas. The ice-breaker stops near Rubini rock which is the shelter for Northern birds and the biggest bird rookery in Arctics where birds spend their short vacation. Finally. The presenter Urij Pesyakov gets to Rudolph Island which is the nothernmost part of Russia and the last stop before North Pole Landing.
