Kislovodsk is the southernmost resort of the region Caucasian Mineral Waters. This is where the sun shines for 300 days a year. And local air was prescribed as remedy in the 19th century. Kislovodsk is also the birthplace of the mineral water «Narzan». All these natural resources favoured Kislovodsk to become one of the most popular water climatic Russian resorts. To receive numerous guests sanatoriums and vacation centers were built. At present there are more than 50. One of the most comfortable is the sanatorium «Plaza». It's located in the calm place not far from the center's city and one can get from there right to the resort park, having escaped city fuss. Kislovodsk park is the largest artificial park in Europe. It has an area of one and a half thousand ha. Walks in the park are also believed to be treatment. All the territory is divided into six itineraries, each of which is prescribed by a doctor depending on the state of health of a guest.
