At the place where two parts of the world Eurasia and America meet, where cold waters of the Arctic interlace with warm stream of south seas, where fog and rain weather reign there are magnificent Komandorski Islands. A little archipelago consisting of 4 islands and 11 stacks which go beyond water. The nature there is unique and has no analogs in the world. This is where land and sea waters meet and become a unity, two completely different habitats. Flora and fauna of the islands gathered representatives of two continents — America and Eurasia. The subarctic ocean climate influenced formation of natural environment. Special features of the landscape depend directly on number of sunny days. There are no more 30 such days. But tourists come there not for good weather but to view, listen to and feel deeply incredible beauty of the Komandorski Islands.
