The high-standing centre for the Russian national basketball team, Timofey Mozgov, is one of the true symbols of Russian basketball. He won over the hearts of Russian basketball fans playing for Moscow’s Khimki club and set off for the United States to realise the dream of all basketball players — to play for the NBA. Doing such, Mozgov became one of only seven athletes in the history of Russian sport to be invited to play in the North American league.
