The Heights of Mikhail Lukyanov

Despite the fact that he has always lived in a modern city, in many ways Mikhail Lukyanov resembles a hero from old Russian fairytales. Long ago in ancient ‘Rus people like him were referred to as «jacks-of-all-trades». Lukyanov is a climber, a carpenter, a traveller and a designer. He built a beautiful wooden tower, reminiscent of something from a fairytale. While constructing the project, he was careful to follow the traditions of old Russian architecture, shocking and impressing Moscow residents with his amazing work. During his work as a climbing coach he has trained dozens of climbers and as a traveller he has visited some of the furthest corners of Russia. He makes furniture, plays the trumpet and races motorcycles.
