Buddhism played a great role in the history of many Asian countries. For instance, in China more than 380 million people worship the Buddha. Since the year 2002 world's Buddhists' attention has been compeled by Russia, namely Buryatia. Alexand Malich visited Russian Buddhist spiritual centre Ivolginsky datsan. It's situated 30 kilometers far from Ulan Ude near Verkhnyaya Ivolga village. Ivolginsky datsan's full name in translation from the Buryat language means a temple, where the cycle of teaching full of joy and happiness revolves. Ivolginsky datsan represents the Monastic centre with a residence of Pandito Hambo Lama, the leader of all Russian Lamas.
