Huge and not yet realized to the full extent potential of Russian tourism market is discussed both by regional administrations and tour operators, involved in organization of tours throughout the country. Thus, the conference «Tourism in Russia: Opportunities for Development», gone off within the 17th International Exhibition «MITT-2010», drew high attention.

Russia has possibilities for the future development of all kind of tourism, including religious, health-improving, ecological, ethnographic, ski, extreme, cruise, business. Among the participants of the meeting there were Recreational Geography and tourism department of Moscow State University chairman Victor Kruzhalin, Member of the Board of Russian Tourism Industry Dmitri Kolesnikov, Deputy Minister of Industry of Kaliningrad Region Marina Drutman and many others.

The organizers assure that the conference helps the regions to work up efficient strategy, designate growth outlooks, demonstrate curiosities and increase investment attractiveness of the region to promote competitiveness and provide leading positions at the tourism market.
