The region administration proved this today at the presentation of investment potential and projects of Smolensk region at Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Great investment possibilities are presented in regional industry, building and agroindustrial complexes. Near 750 industrial enterprises are located in the region territory, a third of settlement is involved in work there. The shortest route from Russia to Europe lays through Smolensk.
